We have suprising little information about John Norton Wight. The only mention of John Norton in William Ward Wight's "The Wights - A Record of Thomas Wight of Dedham and Medfield and of his Descendants 1635-1890" (© 1890) is detailed below.
"...born March 30, 1821, is a lawyer in Andover, O. He married Susan A. West."
Unfortunately, John Norton is not followed up on in "The Wights - Volume II" by Lois Wight (© 1977).
However, the Wights were a substantial presence in Andover, Ohio. Perhaps one day, we'll be able to dig deeper into John Norton's life there.
